Dr. Stefan Von Gumppenberg

Dr. Stefan von Gumppenberg is a German-board certified Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Reem Hospital, who gained his qualifications in Orthopedic surgery in Switzerland and Germany. Dr. Stefan has considerable European experience for more than 30 years, having worked at the University Hospital of Berne, Switzerland, and the Technical University of Munich, Germany.

Dr. Stefan specializes in the treatment of degenerative diseases and fractures of the upper extremities. He is mainly focused on the treatment of fractures of the upper arm and collar bone.

Prior to joining Reem Hospital, Dr. Stefan was employed at well-established healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi, where he treated complex cases and provided personalized surgical and conservative treatments to patients.

He is a member of the Swiss and German Society of Orthopedic Surgery, of German Society of General Surgery, and AO International.
