Dr. Wael Chaaban

Dr. Wael Chaaban has 15 years of experience in neurosurgeon, currently working at REEM Hospital in Abu Dhabi, pioneering the most advanced technology in Spine surgery. Dr. Wael Chaaban is performing Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery, specially Endoscopic Discectomy and decompression, becoming the pioneer of this technique in the region.

During his career he has performed over 2000 surgeries, of which, more than 1500 have been under Minimally invasive technique with over 500 endoscopic spine surgeries, being focused in this field of Spine surgery for the last 12 Years. He has supported and monitored specialists with less experience in minimal invasive surgery, and is currently leading the Spine Endoscopy training program for Spine Surgeons in UAE, the First of its kind in the Region. He has been appointed as Faculty, Speaker and Chairman of Multiple National and International Spine conferences, as well as Training and Cadaveric workshops maintaining the continuous development and improvement of minimal invasive techniques in the Region.
