Dr. Ahmed has more than 35 years of experience in anesthesiology and ICU, with 29 years of practice in the United Arab Emirates.
He is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Previously, he worked in the UAE as a consultant anesthesiologist and ICU physician at renowned hospitals in Abu Dhabi, where he also served as Head of the Anesthesia Department. In May 2022, he joined Reem Hospital. He is known for pioneering a highly specialized anesthetic technique for lower limb nerve blocks. His work has been published in the Ain Shams Journal of Anesthesiology and Al Azhar Medical Journal, covering topics such as the sciatic nerve block approach and lumbar plexus blocks.
