Dr. Ahmed Hamza

Dr. Ahmed Hamza is an experienced, board-certified general and laparoscopic surgeon. He graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He completed his basic surgical training at Cairo University Hospitals and obtained his Master’s degree in general surgery in 2001 from the same institution. He then joined Dar Al Fouad Hospital, one of the largest private surgical centers in Egypt, where he worked between 2002 and 2006. Dr. Hamza then moved to Kuwait and joined Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital (the teaching hospital of Kuwait University Medical School). In 2012, he obtained his M.D. degree in general surgery from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. In 2019, Dr. Hamza moved to the UAE and worked at a top-ranked private hospital in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Ahmed Hamza conducted research in liver transplantation as part of the fulfillment of his doctorate degree. He holds a diploma in advanced laparoscopic surgery from the World Laparoscopy Hospital (India). He has also contributed to numerous research projects and publications, as well as teaching medical students and mentoring junior surgeons. Additionally, he performs nearly all types of general and laparoscopic surgeries, including emergency and trauma surgeries.

Dr. Ahmed Hamza is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
