Dr. Israa Mustafa

Dr. Israa Mustafa is a General Practitioner with four years of experience specializing in ICU, Anesthesia, and general practice. She holds an MBBS from the University of Khartoum, Sudan.
Dr. Israa passed the Part A Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in January 2020 and the Part I exam of the Sudan Medical Specialization Board of Anesthesia and ICU in October 2022.

She has worked as an Anesthesia and ICU Resident and as an ICU General Practitioner at prestigious hospitals. Her responsibilities included performing pre-operative assessments, managing pain, facilitating patient recovery post-anesthesia, and conducting invasive procedures such as central line placements and endotracheal intubations. She also analyzed complex medical data to make crucial treatment decisions, managed ventilator support, monitored the vital signs of critically ill patients, and communicated effectively with patients and their families.

Dr. Israa also worked as a General Practitioner in Pediatrics at Maygoma Orphanage, supervised by UNICEF, in Sudan and as a General Practitioner in ENT at Khartoum ENT Hospital, Sudan. She also completed an internship at the Federal Ministry of Health, Sudan, and served as a Clinical Tutor of Anatomy at the University of Khartoum.
