Dr. Miriam Byrne, MD, FRCSI, is a distinguished Consultant Plastic Surgeon with over two decades of clinical expertise, specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
Dr. Miriam Byrne completed her medical training at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. She became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCSI) in 2005, was awarded her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCSI), a Breast Microsurgery Fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, an Advanced Aesthetic Fellowship at the London Clinic, UK, and the American Society of Plastic Surgery Aesthetic International Fellowship in 2017.
She earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Trinity College Dublin for her research on coagulation and inflammation in a major cancer model. She holds diplomas in Molecular Prevention from the National Cancer Institute in the US and in Counselling from Maynooth University. She gained specialized experience from esteemed institutions in the USA, Spain, Belgium, and Japan.
Upon relocating to Abu Dhabi in 2018, Dr. Miriam Byrne joined esteemed clinics, where she focused on aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, as well as body contouring after significant weight loss, serving a diverse clientele of Emirati, expatriate, and international patients.
Dr. Miriam Byrne is serving as an Examiner for Plastic Surgery Licensing with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi. She holds a postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons Glasgow.
