Dr. Mohammed Al Khatib studied medical science at the University of Regensburg and continued his residency in Internal Medicine at the University Hospital of Würzburg. He then worked at the renowned Diabetes Zentrum Mergentheim, one of the largest diabetes centers in Germany. Dr. Al-Khatib also worked in the Endocrinology and Diabetology department at the University Hospital in Würzburg, where he and his team established a clinic for diabetes and metabolic disorders and, in cooperation with the surgery department, founded the obesity center in Würzburg.
In addition to his hospital work, he was active in Research and Scientific Studies in Würzburg, where he led the treatment of Diabetic Foot Syndrome, the further education of healthcare professionals, and functional diagnostic procedures.
He served as the Medical Director and Consultant in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Diabetology at esteemed Diabetes & Endocrinology Centers in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Al-Khatib has given numerous presentations at national and international conferences, including the obesity conference in Germany, the annual meeting of the German Diabetes Association (DDG), the German Association for Endocrinology (DGE), and other meetings in the UAE.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Khatib is a distinguished member of several prestigious medical associations. He holds memberships in the German Diabetes Association (DDG), the German Endocrinology Association (DGE), and the German Association for Internal Medicine (DGIM). Additionally, he is affiliated with the Diabetes Academy Mergentheim (FIDAM) and the Association of Physicians for Natural Healing. These affiliations reflect his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and practice in his fields of expertise.
