Dr. Muhammad Junaid is a General Practitioner in the Urgent Care Unit of Reem Hospital. He has more than 10 years of experience and is a graduate of Khyber Medical College in Pakistan with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians in the UK, MRCP 1 and 2 and has completed a residency program in Internal Medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan.
Dr. Muhammad is experienced in assessing and treating patients in the emergency department, performing emergency procedures, conducting physical examinations, and advising on necessary investigations. In addition, he performs medical procedures such as lumbar puncture, central venous catheter placement, pleural puncture and analysis, ascites puncture, N/G tube placement, urinary catheter placement, I/V cannula placement, blood transfusion, endotracheal tube placement, and suctioning.
Prior to joining Reem Hospital, Dr. Muhammad worked for prominent healthcare organizations in Pakistan and the UAE where he treated elective and emergency cases such as cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, and hematology.
