Dr Najat Amharar is dual French-Moroccan citizen, born and trained in France. She has completed her 6-year medical foundation studies in 2008, in Rouen, and her 5-year residency in general (laparoscopic) surgery in Bordeaux, in 2013. Following her residence, she took a 2,5-year fellowship in the Catholic University Hospital of Lille.
Her experience across the UAE has amounted to 6 years, during which she has practiced proctology (invasive and noninvasive), laparoscopic benign upper GI procedures, hernias, digestive emergencies, benign breast pathologies, cutaneous and subcutaneous lumps, wound care (burns, acute and chronic wounds) and endocrine surgery…
She is currently completing an international certification in Wound Care and Functional Medicine (preventive and lifestyle medicine).
