Dr. Salwa Taher

Dr Salwa Taher is consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Al Reem hospital with experience of 30 years. She holds MBBch and MSC degree in Egypt and is a fellow of Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist of the United Kingdom. Dr Salwa has a broad experience in working at senior level at reputable hospitals in NHS of the UK and UAE. Over 20 years she pursues special interest in fetal medicine practice with fellowship from highly reputable fetal medicine centre of Kings college of London. she awarded Diploma of advanced obstetric ultrasound from Royal College of Radiologist and Diploma in Family planning in the UK.

As Hands on Obstetrician, she provides compassionate care to high-risk obstetric cases and perform advanced obstetrics manoeuvres include repeat caesarean sections, ECV and B Lynch sutures. Dr Salwa has interest and advanced experience in managing menstrual disorders, menopause, andropause, infertility, colposcopy and perform laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and vaginal surgeries.

Dr Salwa has genuine interest in prematurity research as over years she conducted published, and peer-reviewed research articles for reputable international medical journals. Also was invited to various international congresses as speaker and as chairman. She has noticeable interest in medical education as examiner in medical school of London and in legal aspects of medical practice in NHS.
