Ms. Lama Saleem is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for Health Management and an unwavering commitment to her field. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from United Arab Emirates University in 2017. During her internship, she received training at several prestigious governmental hospitals in Abu Dhabi, including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.
With three years of valuable experience at Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi, Ms. Lama Saleem has adeptly catered to both inpatients and outpatients. Her expertise lies in Public Speaking and Nutrition Counselling and Education, which she is deeply enthusiastic about. Throughout her career, she has actively engaged in community awareness initiatives, delivering lectures on healthy diets and nutrition to diverse private and public organizations. Additionally, Ms. Lama has actively participated in numerous nutrition community events, campaigns, and TV interviews.
Ms. Lama’s areas of expertise encompass a wide range, including obesity and weight management, bariatric surgeries, GI disorders (IBS, Celiac disease, Chron’s disease), food allergies and intolerances, sports nutrition, endocrine and diabetic cases (Types 1, Type 2, and GDM), cardiac diseases and renal disease, pediatric nutrition, and nutrition during pregnancy and lactation. With her comprehensive knowledge and compassionate approach, Ms. Lama Saleem is dedicated to making a positive impact on her patients’ lives and contributing to the advancement of the field of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics.
