The Vaccine is free of charge and you may book your appointment in advance by reaching out to us through our call center number 800 7 444. Our Patient Relations Executives will be asking you a few questions to check that you are eligible for the vaccine before selecting a convenient date and time.
Kindly note that you will need to have a Consent Form signed and stamped by your doctor before clearing you to receive the vaccine. The signed and stamped form should be brought with you at your vaccine appointment as well.
The Sinopharm vaccine contains SARS-CoV-2 that has undergone treatment with a chemical called beta-propiolactone. This chemical binds to the virus’s genetic material and stops it from replicating and causing COVID-19. The vaccine also contains an adjuvant in the form of aluminum hydroxide. Adjuvants help strengthen the body’s immune response to vaccines.
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine contains a harmless piece of messenger RNA (mRNA). The COVID-19 mRNA teaches cells in the body how to create an immune response to the virus that causes COVID-19. This response helps protect you from getting sick with COVID-19 in the future.

Reported side effects to COVID-19 vaccines have mostly been mild to moderate and short-lasting. They
include fever, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, chills, diarrhea, and pain at the injection site. The chances
of any of these side effects following vaccination differ according to the specific COVID-19 vaccine you’ve
taken.
It is important to keep record of the second dose appointment and adhere to attend, to ensure the
required level of immunity and the maximum benefit from the vaccine. It is recommended to take the
second dose in the same facility where the first dose was taken. The second dose of the vaccine should
be administered as close to the second dose schedule as possible. If for any reason there is an
unavoidable delay, contact us to reschedule the appointment.
The COVID-19 vaccine will reduce the chance of transmission and spread of COVID-19 infection to
others. However, you will still be at risk if you refrain from following the precautionary measures by
wearing a mask and keeping a safe distance between you and others.
You may call 024493333 (option number 3) to notify side effects (in Emirate of Abu Dhabi), or you can go
to the nearest healthcare facility if needed.
Yes, you may receive a Pfizer- BioNTech booster after 6 months from your Sinopharm COVID-19 Vaccine.
While some people don’t need a third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, it is recommended for a certain
group of people who might not have developed a strong immunity against the disease. Therefore, a
booster dose in this case can be beneficial to provide a higher level of immunity.
Covid-19 vaccines are safe and effective. Side effects for children ranging from the age of 12 to 15 years
old were like the ones which were found in other age groups, including pain at the injection site, fatigue,
headache, fever, chills, muscle pain, or joint pain. Like any other vaccine, side effects vary and can be
from mild to moderate.
You may take anti-fever or anti-inflammatory medications if necessary following Covid-19 vaccination.
However, its important to know that doing so could diminish the level of immunity that develops as the
symptoms you experience after your Covid-19 vaccination are normal side effects caused by your
immune system responding.
Many people will get the vaccine and not experience side effects. That does not mean that the vaccine
was not effective or didn’t work for them.
It’s advisable to stop taking your painkillers in advance as your initial immune response may become
lower overall.
Yes. It is okay to get the second dose in the other arm.
Both mRNA and DNA are located separately in the human body, and one does not interfere in the other
nor operate the same. Therefore, the vaccine does not affect a person’s DNA.
There is no evident based research on the longevity of the Covid-19 vaccine until this date.
It’s highly recommended to get the vaccine for people who have previously tested positive and
recovered. The vaccine was found to be safe on previously infected individuals and because we don’t
know how long antibodies will last after having the infection, a Covid-19 vaccine can be beneficial in
boosting a person’s existing immunity from infection.
Current variants circulating are being monitored for their ability to spread, cause more severe disease
and evade vaccines or/and treatments. To date, none of the variants have changed enough that they
require new vaccines.
People with immune-compromising conditions may get the Covid-19 vaccine as long as they don’t suffer
from severe allergy to vaccine components or have a history of severe allergy to any vaccine or injectable
medication. It’s highly advised to refer to your physician before booking a vaccine appointment.
